And why you decided that alternative/"proper" rip of https://lossless-music.org/download/rexanthony-hardcorized-2001-flac will have exactly "original low volume tracks", not almost exactly same-mastered "amplified" ones?
CD's are usually mastered differently than vinyl, also very unlikely someone'd bother to alternate original CD rip's mastering. So if you want "original" mastering then you'd request lossless vinyl rips (and not just any rips but exactly the ones that were ripped and post-processed in the way you prefer) of singles this CD is compiled from then. If you presume it's not nigh-impossible to find them by now, just as CD rip with proper EAC log

I needed because I think cd pressing is half the volume. Probably the lossless-music.org edit is amplified and dithered, but I can double the volume without dithering with a Nyquist command, resulting in a really perfect copy.

Then every other mp3 version of the album one could find at e.g. Soulseek was also amplified and dithered, lol. Are there any other reasons than your thoughts/beliefs that original cd pressing is different because you'd like it mastered that way?
You can add REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN or REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_GAIN tags with any +/- dB value you calculated/prefer if somehow you're banned from your hardware amplifier's volume knob, then media players (e.g. Foobar) will auto-apply that value while playback, no need to modify original audio stream in audio editors
