someone already had the FLACs, but wanted to get the full points for it.
Or did you think this request was for Digital FLACs?
#3JonnyRich2024-01-13 17:25

That's a cleaned up vinyl rip. Basically all of those tracks are vinyl rips

Crazy that even back then Hixxy didn't bother mastering for digital. Nowadays his excuse is that all the DATs are lost, what was his excuse back then? If I'm not mistaken, that comp came out when he had just released the first couple of RB releases, there's no way he had lost the DATs already...

what boggles my mind with these producers they don't have backup either that or they just chat a load of s**t lmfao

Honestly, I've seen so many claims back and forth over the years I don't know what to believe anymore and I've almost given up on ever seeing the digitals for these.
The last claim/comment I saw online said that Weaver had a back-up of the masters all along and has now given them back to Hixxy. But nothing official from the man himself so who knows what is true...

I think the non-raverbaby-locked artists have proper backups.
Al Storm, Weaver and Scott Brown are the ones I highly believe have them (even if Al Storm tended to have only upscaled mp3's from back then)

you make a track you keep the master on file with the program you used simple as they just chat so much s**t it's unreal, cause obviously they are still making tracks how can they say they don't have the original master :/

I seen a Hixxy comment a while ago that he hated his tracks (except a few) and that's why he never released them digitally.
It's the only believable one, cause he did release a few RB releases on that HTID label.
