Doh, my bad, overlooked it cuz there were too many techno uploads lately xD

Too many if the one who uploads chooses rapidgator and creates a separate link for every single/EP and the one who downloads doesn't have a premium account there :P

I can understand the reason why admin uses it (he pays for premium account, wants his label packs/lossless uploads to endure and maybe even manages to earn something to pay the account's/sites' costs) but for non-premium users/uploads they got a very common "30 days from last download" policy before files get deleted and it comes with a whole bunch of other limitations (that many other filehosts don't have). It's not even about speed, it's about 2 hours of cooldown between any d/l (even if it's 1-track single) and like 3-4 per day per IP in total.
So i'm not buying premium, I'm not using those gay sites that speed things up for clicking ads - so had a "fun" time checking for alternative sources to get the tracks (0-day sites with other filehosts, Soulseek, vk) and clicking "New Tor circuit for this site" button for like whole day :(

Afaik it helps tracking cooldown between downloads (starts next queued d/l asap it's over) and entering captcha but that's it, it won't remove hourly/daily non-premium limitations (requires IP change/manipulation), no?

no, you get a new ip thats the main thing about it ( you can do it manual by pulling all cables from the router for a few minutes) google j-downloader, visit the site, get some info

I tried it before but unless JD offers its own VPN service (doesn't seem so) I don't see how any sort of "Reconnect Script" can force my _ISP's_ router (not the local/private one used just to redistribute net traffic to different devices within 1 house/flat) to change my external/public IPv4 address that'd make filehost detect me as another user thus resetting cooldowns/limitations. It's a dynamic address allright but with IPv4 addresses global shortage usually a user don't get too many of 'em reserved for him by ISP, it's changed by timeout (daily, at best) set at ISP's router and it's not affected with me pulling out net cables, restarting PC or network adapter in Windows's device manager.
Though dunno, maybe it idd works for someone/most ppl at different ISPs/types of connection.

definitely agree that rg.to is the purest form of cancer for downloading without an premium account. and to those debrid sites, most are scam and don't work :(
