Hard trance is not allowed? So why all my other hard trance requests already got filled without anyone says nothing?? I think that this website is about all kind of harder styles and not only hardstyle and hardcore so why hard trance should be ignored? I don't think that I'm the only one that like this style of music...

I'm with you. It is what it is, but hope the admin can reconsider.
As a place to share hard to find releases, this would be a great place to track down some hard trance classics.
The counter argument is "if we say yes to this then it'll be yes to hard dance, hard house, trance, house, dubstep" but as long as users use common sense and make sure it's "hard" that's the key point I think.
Especially as techno is an allowed genre...why is that?
Also, the genre "oldschool" what does that refer to?
And my last point: I see requests like this as being much more in line with what a website like this should be about, rather than requesting a release from last week easily available at Gabba or myfreemp3...

That's another point. Here we talk about releases that today are really hard to find and about a genre of music that you cannot hear anymore on radio or to be played by the deejays on festivals because it's not produced anymore. A lots of people here usually request scene releases from the last year or a couple of months back that are still avalaible on 1gabba or other websites that you can find doing a little search on google... As i imagine i don't think that this one is the REAL PURPOSE of this website. But anyway, it's the admin that only can decide and if he says that hard trance is not allowed i will not post any other requests of this specific style.

we dont make the rules, we just have to follow them here on xprm. that´s maybe weird for some people but it is as it is. only the admin can decide to get some *not allowed* genres in the *allowed list*. so let us see what the future brings.

as mentioned in "about" page:
hardcore, speedcore, j-core, frenchcore, breakcore, hardstyle, happy hardcore, oldschool, etc

generally speaking hardcore/hardstyle is preferred here. similar styles of course allowed (like frenchcore, speedcore, jumpstyle, etc)

drum'n'bass is not allowed, except crossbreed, core n bass, etc

trance, hardtrance, house, hardhouse, dance, harddance, techno, hardtechno, etc usually are not allowed

its too large range of genres, thousands of releases, and thousands of requests.

our visitors is not a secret mostly come here from hardcore/hardstyle webisites, and only few of them have something besides HC/HS at their HDDs. so this requests will be open and useless.

i can make for testing something for all other genres separately from HC/HS, but lets discuss it, what can it be.
For example it can be another site section (for example with url http://xprm.net/x ), which will be separated from HC/HS (other request page, comments, etc), but similar design

Another website section or a "sister page" with a similar layout but different range of genres it could be a great idea for scene releases collectors like me. Personally i like all kind of electronic music and i have 2-3 terabytes of scene releases from late 90's to 2014 so i think i could help with other kind of requests but of course doing all kind of music genres on this page would begin to disappointing people that only likes harder kind of music. It's just my point of view and my idea and i hope you like it, i think that creating another section for other genres (hard trance is just an example) would be great, but the ultimate choice is just yours. Anyway thanks for your explanation and your disponibility, i try not to post other hard trance requests here.

Hard trance is dead atm, many hard trance dj's playing subground etc..
I collect hard trance labels like lizard and it's hard to get many rlses, but here some users, who have huges scene rlses arhives...Well, now i must spam tbeer with PM's own requests :/

I vote for Hard House, Hard Trance and Acid. I think any old Hard style should be allowed just no dubstep or any shit like that as there is plenty of places for that stuff anyways.

old Hard House and Hard Trance is hard to find.

If a seperate trial site was possible that'd be awesome
Collectors could put together some label packs: overdose, pulse, traffic tunes, carnal etc.
It'd be great
