I have all the Rebuild CD (excluding the mixed ones) and I woulnd't mind giving Thumpa the middle finger by ripping them to FLAC and upload myself. But sadly too many artist who have contributed in the albums would be in the crosshair.

Lol what's the beef with Thumpa?
#13Q912021-11-02 10:16
other than Thumpa's beef with the whole freeform scene, he blamed me for one of the albums being leaked because I lived in the same country as the uploader to a website.

Thanks Dale, this rip looks better than the one from the 1gabba affiliated lossless site which seems to have noise in the higher frequencies as if it was ripped through a decoded audio stream on a sound card (similar to how one might rip streaming audio). Your rip doesn't seem to suffer from this problem.

I'm not too clued up on sites to download stuff if i'm honest, so no idea what site you're referring too.
I always RIP everything using EAC and on the slowest setting possible. I don't bother with the cue logs or anything like that, and if a error shows i always re-do said track.
These CD releases are expensive and out of print, so if One person downloads it and is happy then i'm happy enough. Good Music shouldn't be kept away, the CD's themselves will keep value regardless.
I'm more than happy i have finally got my hands on the first 2 Volumes, i never forgive myself for losing them.

Yea, the Thumpa comps are pretty great. What an absolute shame it was decided to make them so exclusive, although at least we have them preserved on the internet well enough at this stage. The artwork for them was apparently made by the original artists for the original Transformers comics. No idea how he got a hold of him...
I think it's incredibly unfortunate how much of the UK Hardcore scene made lots of this stuff so incredibly exclusive in the last 10-11 years. Unless you're a dedicated fan of the scene, you're basically SOL at this stage... And then they wonder why the scene died (mostly, at least).

This explains why that cartoon robot style looked familiar to me.

Not to be nitpicky, but care to mention any standard Audio CDs that actually supports 48kHz? :)

Iirc (but could be wrong), these are Dale's rips. I was wondering the same
