VA-Qapital__Mixed_By_Digital_Punk_and_Hard_Driver_and_Deetox-(QCD017)-2CD-FLAC-2017-SPL is nuked for being incomplete exactly but for this track, wait for repack.
Also: gj requesting like this.

it actually was pred complete but due to some bad things happening in the scene they (SPL) are limited to one site far away and therefore their rls spread as shit.. we're lucky to have the latest complete..

Sooooo......????

So no repack from SPL followed. As solo track it's avl. at NBN06 and exactly as part of the mixed Qapital 2017 CD - either split it from SPL's mp3 rip or keep looking for ways to get a free lossless non-scene/private rip.

yeah got the mp3 version already. but the other dude said it was pred complete. So basically if he knows this he'd be able to provide it right? maybe he's just bullshiting tho

Whole release was and is still tagged as nuked at prescene.tk. Obviously SPL got in their hands and ripped both CDs back then (1st as images since it's a mixed compilation, then splitted them by cue for FLAC release) but this track was lost somewhere in transit and noone else managed to get it for further distribution. And SPL can't fix it now for w/e reason - it's stupid but looks like they deleted rip asap they _believed_ both mp3 and FLAC rips were uploaded ok and don't have physical CDs to re-rip now.

Thank you! Nice find, w/e scene or non-scene source this track originate from - seems legit in terms of both length/continuous mix-matching and quality :)

just downloaded mentioned release with 205 file above included.
it's absolutely the same as originally posted, except track 205, but it passed SFV check, because of other checksum in SFV file (109e1980 instead of eb8be6ab)
it means someone changed sfv file or it was incorrect in original file or something else...

You mean you re-downloaded VA-Qapital__Mixed_By_Digital_Punk_and_Hard_Driver_and_Deetox-(QCD017)-2CD-FLAC-2017-SPL all over again from your scene source and it had sfv file with matching checksum, different than the initial version back in April and listed at srrdb?
Hmm, well, that's convenient but there's still no repack and the release is still nuked at predbs - you sure someone just didn't modified sfv so all the audio files would pass the check? Maybe there's a way to re-check or confirm this change?
Though ofc file naming/tagging pattern/flac version used in this 2-05 track perfectly match the rest of SPL's release and hardly it's a coincidence that only this exact track showed up now, not the whole compilation as a non-scene rip :O

Nah, different nfo size is nothing - with the same number of lines used it's a regular issue of different (in this case Windows vs. Unix) line ending formats used. Unix-encoded ones got the smallest size < Windows < (old) Mac and e.g. Notepad++ can show that info.
Looks like mega.nz resets all original files' modification times/dates (they match file creation ones = when it was d/led from mega.nz), could you check what are those for .sfv & 205-myst-before_you_go.flac in the archive(?) you d/led before reuploading to mega.nz? That old/initial CRC sum couldn't be just randomly generated for this exact track either and that sfv's file modification time dates back to 5th April (i.e. next day after SPL's flac release).
Anyway, until the release gets unnuked/repacked these "authentic scene release" speculations have little sense, just to have the full mixed compilation in lossless is enough/much better than the one with a skipped track.
Maybe it's indeed that "lost in transition" track that was found/restored - with exactly identical audio stream (looks so, merged waveforms of tracks 2-04,2-05,2-06 look seamless and identical to those of mp3 cd rip) but just with some really minor/undetectable changes in tag data (all tag fields readable are identical but overall not completely identical to the file that CRC sum was initially calculated from). Maybe SPL themselves accidentally made these changes after .sfv was created.
Though maybe someone asked someone else (who bought the compilation, ripped it, but didn't want to share it whole) to split this exact track from this non-scene rip.
In any case to forge sfv and thus bring much confusion which sfv version is proper when it starts spreading among ppl around - meh, not the way to go, imho.

i have files with resetted modification times/dates:
Access: 2017-07-04 10:28:05.921688792 +0300
Modify: 2017-07-03 19:40:42.918834700 +0300
Change: 2017-07-04 10:28:07.721537446 +0300

Well, that's a dead end then, dates this fresh don't help at all. Probably you (or your source) also got these files as they are/unpacked through some app that continuosly/on-the-fly writes files :(

dates were resetted by airdc, now i see that files (from release with track 205) have 2017-04-13 20:19 date modified

Nice, guess it can be considered as a fixed release/legit sfv replacement then since it isn't too trivial for someone to find/rip cds/split the track and then be so thorough in imitating SPL's tags, flac encoder version and file name within a week after seeing SPL's release incomplete :)
