ZAP Cassettes was (jokingly) established in late December 2006 as a label for the first Pirate Fucking Radio cassette. Since then, it has become a (serious) experiment in releasing music by an eclectic set of talented acquaintances. Releases are usually limited edition audio cassettes and (unlimited edition) digital files licensed under the Creative Commons.

The idea behind Ze1 cWnD (pronounce like "the one sound") is simply to gather under this NetLabel spontaneous recordings, jams or improvisations, between 1 or more musicians with or without an audience, played one time and recorded. All styles and genres are accepted as long as there was no real preparation before hand in order to perform a pre composed piece of music or sound. Think of it as a musical chat.
