Nvm, can't friggin see anything in Spek :S When it comes to mp3s it's ok only for fast checks of what came from more or less reliable sources. I didn't check DISCIPLES001 & 002 because they were free releases once (no need to buy proper version = little reason to fake/upscale) and mp3 versions were uploaded at e.g. 1gabba long time ago. Would be pro if someone could share FLACs of those though :)
As for DISCIPLES004 & 005: Those are just some kind of reencodes of bandcamp 128-kbps (44,1 kHz sampling rate) preview clips, I can clearly see the uploaded tracks' 128-ish "core" now that I open it in Adobe Audition. Also added opus-->mp3 reencodes of their versions from Prototypes Records' youtube channel (dunno why they changed to Heresy Disciples to release these ones): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKST4Dgvh2yjWI6o0R7yagA/videos?disable_polymer=1

Well, ofc there're lame producers and this kind of crap can still be sold, especially in artist's personal bandcamp shops. But it's a sublabel of Third Movement/Heresy (got quite a history/reputation) + youtube clips got nothing of this sorts in their spectrums

(i.e. just force resampling from 44,1 to 48 kHz) at bandcamp preview clips. They also "magically" get these extra frequencies in spectrum's 16-20,5 kHz range (same if you just upscale to WAV/FLAC) that are not present in the 128 kbps source. Needless to say it's just some artificial noise that's irrelevant to audio content itself, just makes the poor quality of 128 kbps even worse
