please note this doesnt have sfv & nfo.
this release is not listed in srrdb so i have no way to verify integrity & completeness.
also, some of the filenames are cutoff, for the same reasons mentioned above i cant verify if this was released that way, or has been cutoff due to some system filename limitations.

if this satisfies you after all, let me know and i will hit the filled button :)

First of all, thank you for checkin' out and filling these old requests! To my regret I couldn't confirm that this release is genuine as mp3shitter is dead and no any public nfo db with this release. But I could assume it's not complete because predb.me states that it should contain 52 files with 95 MB in size (that's kinda strange as those 9 mp3 files already occupy 85.6 MB). And I vaguely remember that the release in question should contain "Vintage Beat - Turn Off The Lights" track, which is why I did a request back in the day. I've seen this RpM rel available on 0daymusic: http://www.0dayvinyls.org/Group/RpM.txt But I don't have an account to dl and verify.

I think, it should stay unfilled until any other member could confirm the subject. Maybe even I will go to 0daymusic to dot the "i" here :)

no problem, just wanted to help out :)
regarding files and size in pre dbs, it is funny, because around the time of this release there was a trend to add this extra info, yet, in 2019 there are many releases that are missing such info.
back in the days this info was either added manually by bot owners for specific releases, so their bot would look cooler, or was parsed from irc site bot anounce if possible on pre anounce by affil or by race stats after the release was complete.
in many cases the parsing was done poorly and i am 99% sure the file info is wrong.
since prebots catch the first anounce, if the first anounce had wrong info, it would stay like that "forever" in that prebot.

in any case, attached 3 version of the track you mentioned, not sure about source, but maybe this is what you looking for.

Interesting info about the old scene days, indeed. I like reading some 90s / early 2000s nfo's - very nostalgic feeling, although I'm just a collector, not even a scene member or someone :D

I doubt about that release as you too, so when I get enough info about it I will post it here.

Well, there were three versions of "Turn Off The Lights", I know of:
- Original Club Mix aka Promo Mix
- FM Cut aka Radio Version
- This unknown remix: https://soundcloud.com/maxx-ulyanoff/vintage-beat-turn-off-the-lights-unknown-rmx
I have 1 and 2 for a while; that was the thread of mine - https://xprm.net/request/vintage-beat-turn-light-promo-cds-2003-wax-vintage-beat-turn-lights-promo-cds-2003-udc Your archive contains these two versions actually and one track is a dupe because it's a speed up version of the original. It was released like this, I know. And now I'm seeking for the remix. Sadly no one was able to identify it. I suppose it might be an unreleased Sascha Van Holt remix, but it's only my guess. Would be very grateful for some info on this (if any).

And, as another interesting tidbit, the Original Club Mix / Promo is an almost one on one Master Blaster sounding without the extra beep-like noise on the bassline. And Sascha Van Holt is part of MB...

As mp3shitter is back to life, I can view the correct tracklisting and compare. The file list goes like this:

00-va-vinyls_pack_vol.07-vls-2003-rpm.m3u
00-va-vinyls_pack_vol.07-vls-2003-rpm.nfo
00-va-vinyls_pack_vol.07-vls-2003-rpm.sfv
01-beam_vs._cyrus_-_global_evolution-rpm.np3
02-blutonium_boy_vs_dj_neo_-_hardstyle_nation_(dj_neo_mix)-rpm.np3
03-daywalkers_-_losing_blood_(a2_ad_project_remix)-rpm.np3
04-dj_activator_-_nrg-rpm.np3
05-lichtenfels_-_sounds_like_a_melody_(pulsedriver_remix)-rpm.np3
06-megara_vs_dj_lee_-_hold_your_hands_up_high_(pulsedriver_remix)-rpm.np3
07-nu_nrg_-_supersonik_way-rpm.np3
08-shaun_baker_and_marc_van_linden_-_sex_on_the_streets_(classic_rmx)-rpm.np3
09-the_kgbs_-_hip_style_(dj_stardust_remix)-rpm.np3
10-vintage_beat_-_turn_of_the_light_(promo)-rpm.np3

So it appears, your release lacks track #10, besides of missing .m3u, .nfo and .sfv. The tracknames should not be cut-off surely. And the whole release weights 95 MB. I would update the main post to reflect all that, but no Edit button for me.

Track names would be cut off if the folder was stored on a CD and the folder+filenames were too long for windows.
I have many of these type of releases where the ends of the names are cut short due to NERO cutting them off when they were burned to CD back in the day.

Had a look on 0Daymusic and they do not have this release currently. If they listed it in the past the may have lost it when part of the archive's drive(s) crashed.
