Lots of stuff going on on this weeks Mary Anne Hobbs. Bobby Friction (another DJ on BBC Radio 1) and Mary Anne plays some tracks back to back. Then we get a DJ set from Bullion.
After the Bullion set there is an announcement about who gonna play at the Generation Bass show in August and the Djs are Silkie and Quest, Kulture, Joker, Starkey, Chef, Oneman and Cyrus.

A grime MC called Kano is guesting Mary Anne Hobbs this week. She also drops some big news about follow up of the Dubstep Warz show. The original DJ’s (Mala, Skream, Kode9, Vex’D, Hatcha, Loefah and Distance) that played at the show in January 2006 has been asked to select new DJ’s to play on August 19th. The new show is called Generation Bass and should be absolutely massive!
Dubstep Warz is probably my all time favorite Mary Anne Hobbs show and I still listen to it now and then. Think it was actually that show that made me really love dubstep.

Here is the latest Mary Anne Hobbs show with sets from Sonar Festival 2008 by Mary Anne herself, Shackleton, Flying Lotus and Mala. Expect massive doses of dubstep.
Sounds like a festival all electronic music lovers need to attend next year!
